The Kurty D Show

034 - Chief Empathy Officer with Nick Cromydas

Episode Summary

This week I'm excited to share my conversation with my friend Nick Cromydas, Co-Founder & CEO of Hunt Club.  Hunt Club is a new category of search firm that leverages the power of relationships and referrals to help high-growth companies recruit the best talent. Rewind to late 2019, my friend Brian Swartz, who is a Hunt Club expert, referred me to Nick to join the team at Chicago-based Hunt Club- where I’m the General Manager for the West. At the time of this recording, I’ve been at Hunt Club 2.5 years and have seen tremendous growth collaborating with Nick and the Hunt Club crew. Objectively it’s one of the fastest-growing recruiting companies in the world, and I’m honored to be a part of the team. For context, Hunt Club technology transforms thousands of subject matter experts into the world’s most powerful talent network, referring 10x talent in the roles we’re recruiting for. Our clients love it because we deliver an end-to-end, white-glove done-for-you service. What’s meaningful is that it’s our personal growth- things like listening better, and caring more for our clients and team members- aka being better and more effective humans- that has fueled the firm’s success- that’s why I dubbed this episode “Chief Empathy Officer”. This is a special episode for me for several reasons- I’m grateful for this assignment, I’m excited about the special team we’re building, and most importantly, the results we’re getting for our beloved clients. Anyone interested in business as a mechanism for self-actualization, as well as the fascinating world of startups and growing organizations, then this episode, is for you! If anyone listening wants to sign up to be an expert to get paid to refer your friends and peers for hot jobs, pls sign up at https://www.huntclub.com/experts. And of course, if anyone needs help to recruit 10x talent pls go llet me or Nick know, and we’ll be more than happy to help!
